Gradmatic Equipment offers the foundry industry, innovative, new technology to line coreless induction furnaces with dry, refractory materials. The custom designed, four-stage system virtually automates the lining and vibration processes largely overcoming the problems associated with conventional methods.
			Survey's of foundries using the system reported air samples for respirable silica tested five to ten times below OSHA's (Occupational Safety and Health Association) permissible exposure level, which is significant considering that silica is a carcinogen. Lining life increased an average 42 percent, tonnage throughput increased between 28 and 67 percent and workforce reductions averaged 67 percent.
